Your SaintMail email account uses POP3, IMAP and WebMail.

What does that mean?

1) Email stored on the SaintMail IMAP server can be read from a desktop computer at home, a workstation at the office, and a notebook computer while traveling, without having to transfer messages back and forth between computers at different locations!
In order to Send and Receive mail, you must log in to that server and access your account using an email program (such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, or Netscape Mail) and your Internet service.
Generally, the ways to obtain a POP account are by subscribing to an Internet service or by purchasing a web hosting account for web site publishing.

With SaintMail -- You get a Webmail account as well!

3) A WebMail account is an email account that uses a web-based program to send and receive mail so it can be done over the Internet. It does not require the use of an email program on your computer or trying to "figure out" how to program one.

**Because your SaintMail account is a WebMail account, you don't have to worry with trying to add it to your present email program - you can simply use it on the Internet!

AND - there is never any of that "down" time or "waiting" time to access your mail. All of your email is held on our IMAP server in a file that belongs only to you and to your messages.

Using SaintMail With Your Email Program

How do I add my SaintMail account to my email program?

All email programs vary in this. First, you must determine if your email program supports multiple accounts or "mailboxes". We suggest looking under additional accounts, adding accounts, or mailboxes. If it does, then consult the Help section for your particular program. It will guide you through the steps for adding your SaintMail account. You will need the following information:

      • POP or IMAP Server address:saintmail.net
      • SMTP Server address:your local ISP's mail settings.
Do I have to change my Internet service?

No. Your email program will ask you how you want to connect (who is your service) to the Internet to check your SaintMail account when you add it to your program. You can use whatever Internet service you choose. It makes no difference. One service can check and access many different email accounts.

*IMPORTANT*

Your SaintMailaddress is @saintmail.net NOT .com

Using SaintMail From The Web - WebMail Center

How do I check my SaintMail email from the Web?

Easy. Go to our Home page at http://www.saintmail.net.

Then click on Log In. This will place you at the SaintMail ExpressEmail Check page. At SaintMail Express you will enter your Username and Password that you received in the confirmation email sent by us. All you have to do is enter your password and GO!

SaintMail also has many locations throughout the Internet on other sites that allow SaintMail users to Log In right from the page they are on.Whether using SaintMail Express or using one of our Remote Log In locations, users should enter only their username in the Username section. DO NOT use the complete extension of @saintmail.net when entering your username to Log In. It will return an Invalid message and deny you access to the mail area.

*IMPORTANT- Make sure to enter your username/password with the correct uppercase and lowercase letters.

Hint: We always assign usernames in all lowercase letters. If you registered a username of "Mary", then your actual username is mary and your address is mary@saintmail.net.
You can still receive mail addressed "Mary@saintmail.net" but you can only access it with the username "mary", in lowercase.

Passwords are registered in the exact form that we received them using both uppercase and lowercase letters.

What if I forget my password?

Thats not a problem. From SaintMail Express there is a link that will take users to an area where they can contact SaintMail Administration to send them their password. Or, you can access the Get Password page by clicking the Password button on the navigation bar of any SaintMail Web page.

How do I read my messages?

When you Log In you are taken directly to your InBox. There you will see a personalized greeting and an announcement telling you how many messages you currently have.
